Parade of Horribles follows Carl and Donut as they hit the 10th floor after destroying all the other armies on the 9th floor and saving the NPCs. The 10th floor is a giant road race between the remaining crawlers and NPCs, and a large number of people took deals on the 10th floor, so there are only a few thousand crawlers left.
The biggest challenge to this floor is that there can only be one surviving team at the end of 7 heats, and the more NPCs that are killed, the higher the likelihood that there will be crawlers against crawlers in the final heat.
Carl always wants to try to save everyone, but he’s again put in a position where he probably can’t save all his friends.
I can’t rave enough about this series. The absolute craziness and creativity that goes into this series is so freaking amazing. A book can rarely make me gasp, laugh, and be shaken with all the twists and turns and humor, but this made me do all of the above.
If you haven’t gotten on the Dungeon Crawler Carl fan train, you should get on it as soon as possible!
