Black Ties & White Lies is a Billionaire Fake Engagement Romance, or “it’s not stalking or creepy if they are ridiculously rich and handsome.” The premise is that Billionaire Beckham “needs a fiancée” to appease his board after a story comes out that he’s a Playboy. He tries to get in contact with Margo, his brother’s ex, to help him, but she ignores him, so he buys the company she works for so that she has to talk to him. If someone else went to the lengths Beckham went to to get with Margo, but wasn’t hot and rich, she’d be taking out a restraining order on him. It was well written, but it just made me realize I’m not into the Billionaire romances.
If I were going just by the quality of the story, I’d give it 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ , but for enjoyment for myself personally, I’d give it 3 raccoons 🦝🦝🦝
