Carl’s Doomsday Scenario is book 2 in the Dungeon Crawler Carl Series. It follows Carl and Princess Donut as they get down to the 3rd level of the dungeon, where they get sucked into extra quests and story lines within the Dungeon that require them to solve mysteries in order to survive.
At this point, they are some of the highest watched Crawlers, much to Princess Donut’s delight, and they team up with Katia, who got separated from her previous team that is led by Helka, another top crawler.
The thing I love about these books are they are just so amazingly creative with the blending of alien story lines that still feel somewhat grounded in human lore, while having multiple “WTF DID I JUST READ!?” moments.
I flew through this book, and if you liked book 1, you will not be disappointed with this one.
This is a 5 raccoon, and 5-star book for me.
