One Dark Spark is a dual POV Paranormal Romance/Romantasy. It follows Paige, an intern at a supernatural library, and Aries, a dragon shifter Prince that Paige accidentally releases from a book.
This is a he-falls-first, love-at-first-sight, fated-mate romance. It was an interesting concept overall, in which the library keepers must defend the library against monsters that sometimes escape from books. Paige decides to hide Aries when he appears to save his life and his world from its destruction if he dies in her world. The library intricacies are a bit more in-depth in the book, but I won’t go into them here.
It’s a pretty quick read, and while Aries falls fast, Paige isn’t too far behind him. She definitely has lust at first sight. The concept is pretty cool, I’m interested in where it’s going.
