I picked this up on NetGalley on a whim because the description sounded fun, but I was not prepared for the absolutely hilarious story that followed. This is a spicy, why-choose alien-abduction rom-com where I dare you to guess what will happen next. It’s packed with chaotic energy, ridiculous humor, and a whole lot of spice…did I mention it’s spicy?

Dory definitely wasn’t planning on ending up in a throple with two hot, hooved aliens after nearly dying to a wild lion… who is now her best friend on this alien, dinosaur-filled world.

One of my favorite parts was the concept of completely inept aliens trying to recreate Earth and human environments with only three days of actual research. The results are exactly as chaotic and hilarious as you’d expect. I kept having to pause and explain to my fiancée why I was laughing so hard while reading.

I picked this up originally because I enjoyed Ice Planet Barbarians and thought it might have a similar vibe, but it completely exceeded my expectations. Now I’m really hoping I get picked as an ARC reader for the next book in the series, I Punched an Alien and Now We’re in Couples Therapy, because I honestly don’t want to wait to see what happens next. Either way, I’ll definitely be continuing this series, and I’m officially adding more books by Kimberly Lemming to my TBR.

I’m giving this 4 literary stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and 5 entertainment raccoons🦝🦝🦝🦝🦝. But anywhere I’m only allowed to rate with stars, it’s a 5-star from me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
